I'm no Angel.

I don't think I know of any other Greg Allman songs.  But this one is pretty great.

The True Story of the Kid President.

Happy Weekend from the land of snow and a girl and a dog and a place with Chai.

Be Awesome....no excuses!

Love ya,
Donna

I remember the TV show "This is Your Life!" Don't tell me if it was rigged, I don't want to know. It always seemed like the person was surprised.

Your Beautiful Life Donna...Target, Katie and Ginny and fluffy snow thrown in for good measure. What a treat your photographs are to me! You know you are living the awesome life. God is in the everyday, how blessed we are.
    love and prayers, jep

  4. My husband has Allman Brothers' albums, but none of Gregg as a solo act. I'll have to get him in here to listen.

Bundle up and stay warm. We're at 58 right now. Gorgeous sunshiny day.
Now I'm singing "Sunshine Day" by the Brady Bunch. Help me.

  5. Sigh ... I miss Target.

We have snow too! A bit less than you.

LOVE Kid President - oh, his dimples make me smile. And does he ever have the moves.

I think I'll go in the kitchen and dance ;-)

Lori, I just came back to watch the video and that is my favorite part too. "Give the world a reason to dance." And, "What are you going to do?" Makes me want to Do Something and Dance while doing it. ;-) Thanks Donna for passing on the dream. love and prayers, jep

  9. That kid is super cute, great spirit, infectious. I'm doing laundry too, and cleaning house, and I colored my hair. Now my hair is awesome. The sun is shining, happy face, but the wind is freezing, no snow, sad face. The boys, the hubs & our 2 boys, are playing risk. I am enjoying hearing them strategize and learn and talk to each other (plus the super cool no electronic device time going on). And there are Tollhouse cookies made yesterday. Life is good. Continued prayers for Alison and her eyes. I think I will go put some music on and wiggle a little.

Ginny looks a bit sad and apologetic in her solo shot. Perhaps she's sorry for running off and knocking you down. She, too, can be awesome!

  14. Love, love, love the pic of Ginny. The turquoisey background with Ginny's color.....makes my heart sing. Fish eye app??? I'm going to have to get on that.

Gregg Allman - I'm No Angel is one of my favorites. I've seen Gregg and The Allman Bros in concert so many times that I can't count. Gregg's "Melissa" and "Midnight Rider" are worth checking out.

Also, I love Ginny's "at attention" stance. That's her Code Red face!

  16. In the air somewhere over Kentucky, i think... I'll miss the immediate DA debrief tonight but hope to watch it online late when I get home so that we can fully embrace our manic Monday discussion. Wait, isn't tonight the Grammys too?!?!? Oh, Cincinnati, here we come!

I can't hear that Greg Allman song without thinking of the SNL skit with a very pregnant Amy Poehler and Josh Brolin:

  18. I may have to pass along this video, too! (Because of you, I posted the original on my blog, too.)
Do you follow @SoulPancake on Twitter? It was created by Rainn Wilson (of The Office), and it asks deeper questions to ponder.
    Hope your weekend was grand!
