Hi!  My newest post is up on The Pioneer Woman's Entertainment section today.

It's a great list of movies that I can't wait for Emma to see.
I think you would like these movies too!

Sunday morning Emma needed to get in her run.  13.1miles
She is training for the Chicago marathon.
This was her longest distance so far and she did great!

Thanks for stopping by!
Love ya!

  1. Great goal, Emma! My husband did the Chicago Marathon a few times, back in the early 2000's. He's moved onto Mountain Marathons (softer surfaces for older joints :-)

As always your photos are beautiful.

    Onto read the PW post!!

Emma, You go girl!! : )

Donna, I have discovered that I've only watched 3/10 of the movies that you've listed. I've seen bits and pieces of some.
I'm not gonna lie, What About Bob is one of my favorite movies. Ha ha!
The Prince of Tides quote is something I've wondered about in my life. I don't know if that's good or bad, but true.

    Have a great Monday, ya'll,
    Sarah P. from Iowa

Best of luck with your training, Emma! Greg first ran the Chicago Marathon in 1985 and then wanted to do it again 25 years later -- so he ran it on 10/10/10. What a phenomenal experience it was! The kids and I loved being there to greet him at the finish line, too. :)

Great movies you picked, Miz Boo! What About Bob is one of our favorite silly movies and Awakenings, Ordinary People and Good Will Hunting never fail to bring me to tears. Love, love, love them.

  8. Donna,

Each of the movies on your list that I have seen, I LOVE...which of course causes me to want to see the others IMMEDIATELY (-:

Also, I have to tell you that your book post a while ago has been the best source for fantastic books to read. I keep the list with me, and I have read at least a dozen books I had never heard of that I really liked. So, thanks!

Go, Emma, GO! I am not a runner, so when I see those "26.2" and "13.1" stickers on cars I am in awe. My favorite sticker, though? The one that says, "0.0". Yep, that's me.

    Love

  10. Way to go, Emma!!
I read your post on PW and loved it...also the one on fathers. In fact, reading your blips about some of the movies brought tears to my eyes as I remembered them. (Also? Hormones are awesome.) (NOT!)
    :)
