Miss Katie has excellent taste in clothes. Good luck on your first day back to school!
Sophia starts preschool tomorrow morning. And so a new routine begins...I am very excited actually. I've cried a couple of times, but they're happy, grateful tears. : )

Lovely pictures! I heart the bike and basket and the bokeh.

    Good day,

Maybe the bike can be a new prop for pictures? You could put some pretty flowers, or maybe stuff Ginny in the basket? Ha! : ) just kidding! That would have been cute when Ginny was a puppy.

Our Vera starts regular preschool next week. She had a taste of it in the summer session and really liked being with other children. How fast they do grow. Before we know it baby Eamon will be going to preschool...well he is not a year yet, so maybe not so soon. ;-)

A feast for the eyes: lovely Katie, pretty dress, neat bike with basket...good job Miz Boo!
      love and prayers, jep

  2. I had the notion that Katie wore uniforms to school? I'm not sure where I came up with that.

I LOVE the dress. She looks very nice (and a bit grown up too! in a good way).

Sarah you are exactly right: the bike with basket makes a great prop!!

  3. These photos look like a campaign for an upscale department store! Beautiful child, beautiful photos! My last child graduated from high school in June so no more first day of school photos for me. Sigh. I'm a little sad about that.

  9. Very pretty indeed. I thought she wore uniforms too. I loved my bike and still have it. It is as antique as me. Please don't ever stop blogging. We would miss you and I bet you would miss us !! Happy Days my cyber friend !!

  10. Okay, so where do you find such cute dresses for that age? Seriously, nothing is modest these days for teen girls......it's either too short, too low, too tight. Katie's dress is PERFECT!

  11. I have been away from blogging for a long while... WOW Katie has changed so much since I last checked in! She is a beautiful young "old" soul! It just seems she is an "old" soul, yeh? Love seeing your captures of her!

  12. I was wondering the same thing as Tammy. Would love to know where you find such sweet clothes.

When does Katie's school start up? We are taking one more week to finish up some projects, and I have to keep reminding myself that we are not behind. I feel the pressure of the local school schedule...but we are not quite ready yet.

    Happy Wednesday all,
    DI

  15. Gorgeous photos, Donna! I scrolled up a bit and read Lynnie S's comment and was thinking exactly the same thing when I clicked on comment. How much Katie has grown which means how long I have been visiting your blog!

I started reading your blog back in 2009! Katie is really such a beautiful girl and often when I see her pictures I think she would make the best fresh faced model!

  18. I think girl clothes are so much fun. When I was going back to school shopping for Kaish I did a little shopping for Bria also just because I could not resist all of the fun colors and styles.

I love kids. I LOVE these pretty shots of Katie.

I am thinking about getting an 85. When I get money. Hopefully my money truck will come soon!
