Quickly.

Hi!
Katie has voice lessons this morning.  They are just so wonderful you can't imagine how thankful we are!

Then this afternoon my high school pal is coming for a visit.

Here we are in high school.

These pictures are from the National Cheerleading competition in Michigan.
We had numbers on our shirts and converse shoes.  We thought we were really cool.

These were our pep uniforms.  I wore this outfit every Friday for three years.
Karen is second from the left.  Isn't she darling?

Wheaton Central has been torn down.

But we are still standing :o)

Off to Baraboo.
I'll say hi to Stephie for you.

Love ya,
Donna

  2. HI STEPHIE!!!!! Oh, how I wish I could hear Katie sing. What a blessing to have Stephie so near.

And your high school photos are The Huge. I know my legs have never been that tan, and I grew up in California (-: You all are so cute!

    Happy day,
    Di

  4. Hello Steph!! How wonderful that Katie has voice lessons with her, a huge blessing for sure.

AMEN to what Di said - these photos are The Huge and very cute.

Di, another way we are alike. My legs have only ever been a darker shade of pale. NEVER tan.

I love love love that you and your high school pal are seeing one another. Another blessing.

You and Karen should recreate that first photo! And I do love the saddle shoes. :)

Hi to Steph for sure, Katie can sing you home and then your visit with an old friend. Enjoy your wonderful day!

Your cheerleading pictures are absolutely adorable. I was never a cheerleader but my sister was. I know how many hours of practice it required, and then all the games, but she loved every minute of it and I'm sure you did too. Yes, hi to Stephie. Love her Quiet Life comments- so insightful and well-spoken.

  8. I'm feeling like the queen of everything because I got to hug Donna and Katie today. I wish you all could hear her sing 'Castle on a cloud' from Les Mis. Pitch Perfect! :) Thanks for all the lovely greetings.

Now, off to school registration for three of my four - including my youngest, starting 4K, who will have his first school picture taken today. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

Oh my, the time flies. And how I love those Converse shoes, Donna girl!

    Love and hugs,
    Stephie
